About The Nestled Homestead

Hello & Welcome! My name is Samantha the face behind this operation. As a first generation homesteader and homeschooler who was raised in the city; I never imagined I would be doing what I do now. Six years ago is what began this wonderful homesteading journey that branched off into bringing all things back home. 

A little bit about me... Mama of three amazing kids; two girls and a boy. I enjoy being able to work from home so that I can keep our family unit together. I am passionate about homesteading and Jesus. I love simple living while advocating for healing and wellness to live an optimal life. I enjoy being in the garden, tending to my flock & colony, a cup of coffee, a good book, music, singing, cooking/baking, deep conversations, sweet treats, being on the lake, hiking the mountains, spring & fall seasons, & spending time with my family & friends. My contentment comes from God and my encouragement comes from my kids. 

We currently rent our tiny homestead. One day I hope to own property to create a small farm/farmstead. My primary goal is to cultivate a life we don't need a vacation from. 

Our homestead is on 3 acres near the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. Nestled away near the base of those mountains surrounded by trees for privacy and tranquility. God has shifted our life in a way I could have never dreamed up myself. We are on a completely different journey than I had planned out in my head but I am here for it!
